About Creative Current

Hi, I’m Jess

I created Creative Current after seeing how many people were doing all the “right” things—talking things through, trying to process, doing the inner work—but still felt stuck.

I wanted to create something that didn’t just live in the mind.

Something that gave people a different way to actually move through what they were experiencing.

What I Do

My work is rooted in creative expression, body awareness, and real-time reflection.

It’s not therapy, and it’s not traditional coaching.

It’s a space to:

  • slow down

  • step out of your head

  • and work with what’s actually coming up

Sometimes that looks like creating something you didn’t have words for.
Sometimes it’s noticing what’s happening in your body and staying with it.
Sometimes it’s simply allowing something to shift that’s been held in place for a long time.

Background & Experience

I’m the founder of Creative Current and have facilitated a wide range of group workshops and one-on-one sessions centered around creative wellness and emotional processing.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and am a certified yoga, meditation and mindfulness instructor, with additional training in movement, mindfulness, and creative facilitation.

My approach blends structure and intuition—creating spaces that feel grounded, accessible, and supportive without being clinical or performative.

Who I Work With

I work with people who:

  • feel stuck in their head

  • struggle to access or process their emotions

  • feel disconnected from themselves

  • or are doing the work but not feeling real movement

I also partner with organizations, wellness spaces, and community groups to bring this work into shared environments through workshops and group sessions.

My Approach

This work is gentle, non-performative, and meets you where you are.

There’s no pressure to have it figured out.
No expectation to do it “right.”

Just space to explore, express, and reconnect in a way that feels real.

If you’re looking for a different way to move through what you’re experiencing, there’s a place for you here.
